Good to know
Naypyitaw is the capital city of Myanmar and represents much of the nation’s pride. This a relatively new city, built in a ten year period in the early 2000s. There is a truly a mythical, and even weird, vibe when visiting the city. There is a small population living in Naypyitaw, and a very small tourist crowd visiting. The city is separated into zones which are separated by green land. Bring a bike with you and cycle through the massive, 20 lane, empty highways. Truthfully, Naypyitaw isn’t a place to go for sightseeing, moreso a good place for rest.
