Reaching Banaue can take a staggering 9 hours, but we’ve never met a person who said it wasn't worth it. It’s known to the UNESCO World Heritage for the Ifugao rice terraces of Northern Luzon. Tourists will enjoy the breaktaking scenery, whether it's on an venturesome trek or simply, the morning view from your lodgings. Either way, you will not be disappointed.
Another wonder that will blow you away are the Tappiya Falls, which will take you about an hour to reach it on foot. The trek is worth what you will discover. Overall, Banaue is a small town that’s full of charm. After you’ve got the trekking out of your system, enjoy local features like the market. Or, take a ride on a tricycle through the streets of Banaue. Getting to and from Banaue is long, but uncomplicated, if you grab a super deluxe bus to Manila that runs daily.
