Like many other cities on the coast, explorations in Tuy Hoa are done with the scent of the sea following you everywhere. The first place to visit is Da Dia reef, where black rocks stack like dominos. Come in the early morning in order to avoid both crowds and intense heat.
The best time to visit is sometimes between May and June as it’s cool, but with no rainfall and few tourists. When in Tuy Hoa, you’ll be within the Phuy Yen province, which means the food here is very specific to the area. Especially, try a savory, fried Vietnamese pancake (Banh Xeo Phu Yen).
