Good experience
We got tickets for the 3rd class, but that was perfect. 2 random seats but easy to change with others. Views were great and locely 3h trip from Nuwara to Ella.
It would help foreigners if they were told what the next station is going to be so they know when to prepare to get off.
Train was clean and apart from crying child, the journey went well. Railway staff were friendly and helpful
All good, the tickets were good, but I should have been told about the train seating layout. We were lucky because several other passengers had been given seats that were not next to each other. 21 & 22 were on opposite sides of the train, 18 & 19 were two aisle seats, so we all sat wherever we wanted!
