If you want to visit the entire country in one go, then March would be your best bet. Otherwise, this is what you should keep in mind:

  • From January to March: Northern Vietnam can be a bit chilly, central Vietnam is just ending its wet season and temperatures are very mild, and southern Vietnam is experiencing its best, most comfortable weather of the year.
  • From April to June: Hot and humid in all of Vietnam.
