Kind of confusing but… okay? Making the booking was really easy. The pick-up and drop-off from any location worked nicely. The pick-up was a little late though, so I sent a WhatsApp message just to check if everything was okay. They replied saying, “It is a collective shuttle, so it’s picking up people hotel to hotel so it may take some time. ” I totally understood and was happy to wait. Then they asked which Central Hostel I was at, I replied “Antigua. ” And then… they sent a laughing emoji and said there are four Central Hostels in Antigua. Which, okay, that’s kind of funny I guess? But also, if they knew that, maybe just ask for the address instead of making it weird? Anyway, they eventually did ask for the address. The driver shows up, nice polite young man, helps me with my bag but it’s just him in a regular car. No minivan, no other passengers. I was confused, if there isn’t a collective why did you say there was and why were you late? Weird. In The company didn’t give an explanation or apology either, which felt a bit odd. Not the end of the world or anything, but you’d think they’d at least mention something. In the end, it all worked out fine, maybe even better for me actually but still, a little courtesy and clearer communication would’ve gone a long way.

Arrived right on time and got us to the airport ahead of schedule.
