All went according to plan. No issues. We were the only 2 people on the shuttle.

We booked this transfer after hearing about the disturbances in the Bocas del Toro region. Original plan was to arrange locally with public transport. And apart from the disturbances not being noticable anymore, we are still happy with the transfer. Left Isla Colon by a speedboat, taking half the time we anticipated for. Arriving at the dock in Almirante and jumping right into the minivan, with a driver and guide. Smooth ride to the border and excellent help getting across the border, not having to find out the procedures ourselves. Which was really pleasant, especially with our small kids. No hustle. After walking across the border, we were guided to another minivan and were dropped off at our destination in Puerto Viejo. So would recommend to everyone, when travelling from Bocas to Costa Rica.

Very easy and straight forward process the driver of the minivan was most kind and helpful. The journey by boat was a pleasant experience the captain was informative and stop to point out some things of interest along the way.

We booked only the day before, to go from Manzanillo to Tortuguero, and everything was smooth and efficient, thank you Caribe Extreme.
