We had 2 transfers from/to Guatemala City to/from Panajachel. Drives and cars are great, very reliable service. Absolutely on time pickup and very safe driving

If you have traveled in Guatemala you are aware things are different here. The bus was a bumpy ride and the first bus had a gas smell. The ride was hours longer because of traffic, no fault of Adrenalina. When traveling in Guatemala expect fast, tail gating drivers. If you do not speak spanish have a translator on your phone. Enjoy the adventure!

The ride didn’t take place. They couldn’t do it on the first of January…

The drivers were amazing and very helpful. They even printed our immigration forms when we showed without them ( we didn't know we need them). Felt safe during the trip and it was comfortable enough. You are travelling in a minivan though with bot much leg space so not great if you're tall. We left at 6am and arrives at Panajachel at 10:30pm which was a lot later than what was advertised - 3pm. We waited for the second mini bus to pick us up for 2 hours and a half at the Guatemalan border. Apparently there was roads closed because of rebels which meant the drivers had to take longer routes. However I'd recommend for the travel company to adjust the expected arrival time - there's a huge difference between 3pm and 10:30pm. Also highly recommended booking somewhere to sleep in Panajachel as the last boats to the other villages are around 6 or 7. Some of our companions had booked to sleep in another village and had to figure out somewhere else to sleep at 10:30pm. Pack a lunch, dinner and snacks if you are vegan, there are stops for food along the way but no options for vegans (only oreos, crisps and nuts).
