We were very happy with our experience riding this train from Almaty to Tashkent. We thought we would be sharing a cabin with two other people but in the end our tickets were for a small 2 person cabin - as was each on our carriage. The cabin was just big enough to be comfortable for both of us and had adequate storage space. I was very pleased with the beds - I am 196cm tall and was able to stretch out fully. The restaurant car on the train was high quality and all train staff were very helpful. We showed our tickets directly on our phones to board the train.
The train was on time. The seats were big, spacious, and comfortable, and there was lovely food and drinks sold. Good experience.
