Train very comfortable however was nearly an hour late arriving in Alexandria. Information desk at Cairo station was very helpful.
Train ride was fine, but getting the tickets was very last-minute!
The train was announced for a ride of 1 h 20 minutes, faster than any other transport medium. It arrived in 2 h 30 min in Alexandria and I felt betrayed. It costs 35 €, returned with Gobus in exactly 3 h for 5 €.
