A bit dirty inside, but the seats were fine and we even got faster to the last bus stop as expected.

We took TIG from San Jose to Tamarindo & everything went smoothly. We had 2 pieces of luggage each & there were no surcharges. We also got tickets matching the tag numbers on the suitcases, a reassuring practice. The seats are comfortable but they don’t recline much. The air conditioning was a bit on the cool side so bring a sweater if you get chilled easily. There was a road closure due to a serious car accident so we had to take a 20 minute detour that delayed us a bit otherwise, we would have arrived on time. There is a bathroom & snack break 2. 5 hours into the trip but the facilities are very basic. For the price you can’t go wrong with this bus service.
