Booked for 1130hrs to Van Vieng but told to be ready 0830hrs. Minivan turned up 0845hrs and we were only passengers, it was however a nice quick and safe drive to Van Vieng where we were lucky to get an early check in. All in all a good service.
everything OK. Thanks
Small seats.
The trip from Luang Prabang took 11 hours and 30 minutes to Phonesavan bus station. We stopped 30 minutes for lunch.
The road is 99% dust, rough, muddy after rain but all amid high in the beautiful mountains. Incredible panoramas, steep valleys. Long but very much enjoyable trip, driver was extremely good, careful, never in a rush. Lots of heavy lorries, trucks. A lot of dust and a pity for the villagers who breathe it all day long.
Parfait. Départ et arrivée à l’heure.
Busy train so definitely worth booking seat reservations. Comfortable seats with power sockets (but no wifi). On time so altogether a good journey
