With no airport nearby, the only way to travel from Koh Kood to Trat on the mainland is by boat. Modern, high-speed ferries and speedboats leave from Ao Salat in the north of Koh Kood island several times a day. The ride takes between 40 and 90 minutes, depending on the boat.

You can’t fly from Koh Kood to Trat; traveling by boat is the only option. High-speed ferries, regular ferries and speedboats leave from the pretty fishing village of Ao Salat in the north of the island and arrive at Laem Sok Pier on the mainland, south of Trat town.
