The booking is quite easy. My main concern is the currency of the bill. If only you could book with the currency your country is using, better.

Bus pickup was as per the listing here on Bookaway and NOT the petrol station as described in the other reviews. We booked this from Ha Long Bay because we had a tour around the bay. There was an option to go back to Hanoi, but we thought we would save time by going from Ha Long. This is not the case. I would recommend anyone else to go back to Hanoi where there are more bus options. Would be better to pay for the 2 row buses, rather than this, which had three rows of seats/beds. Also, we were told for 4:30pm pickup, but the driver was there and calling us already at 4pm, so be there early unless you're happy dealing with disgruntled employees. This bus was not as pictured and is not very VIP in feeling. The TV screens don't actually play anything. The good thing was that there was adequate AC. There were other passengers picked up along the way. We picked up a few in Ninh Binh.

We travelled 17 hours from Ha Long bay to Da Nang. Information and updating was fantastic through E-Mail and queries answered within hours. Sadly the pictures you see, does not reflect the bus. They are very basic. TV’s included but sadly not working! Curtains were not fully connected to the rails, and not very pleasant smelling either! Toilet breaks were regular. However it is a tad anxiety provoking to know you can only use the WC when the drive breaks to allow! Absolute madness to see no WC facilities on board. Another shock? My friend and I had to get off one bus and onto another. This change of buses wasn’t mentioned when booking. I enjoyed my trip… I was able to grab a few hours sleep here and there… long journey! But an experience
