I decided to experience this method of travel on my trip from Da nang back to Hanoi. It seemed a great alternative to flying and inexpensive. Plus I knew it would give me an opportunity to see some other Villages and cities and the countryside. The seats were very comfortable and they provided a nice little pillow and a huge blanket! There was a TV, nice lighting, a privacy shade for the window and a curtain for the doorway, plus they provided a bottle of water. I chose this particular bus because it also had a bathroom on board. The trip was very comfortable and I slept well even though we made numerous stops. I did deduct a star because the pick up location was not comfortable at all. It was just a spot by the side of the road with no shade, no seating and no bathrooms even though we needed to be there early. And the drop off at the end of the trip was in an alley where I was immediately accosted by a lot of Grab drivers on the bikes that did not want to take no for an answer. I didn't want to do a bike with my luggage. So I had to walk out of the alley and across the street to get a car. The only other thing that I did not like was that they were transporting dogs, apparently for the meat trade, and they were yipping all night long. I thought it was somebody's pet in the cargo section which seemed rather odd to me. But when I saw them take the dogs out all crammed into a small cage it made my heart feel very bad for them. I did not like seeing that although I know that it is legal here it is definitely not humane.
