Comfortable and smooth drive from Siem Reap (with complimentary hotel pickup) to Bangkok with simple snacks and light lunch provided on board. Crossing the boarder took 2hrs since there were so many tourists entering Thailand plus we had to wait for 2 lady passengers who were held up for (unfounded) questioning as they were exiting Cambodia. Crossing from one border to the next is done on foot with a distance of about 1km. The bus let's you off at the Cambodian side where you will pass through immigration then it will wait for you inside the Thai border after all formalities have been done. Entering Thailand averages a waiting period between 1-2hrs. depending on the number of people applying to gain entry. Afterwards, it was a smooth drive of another 3.5-4hrs til the central bus station of Bangkok. Driver and steward were both very friendly...
