Decepcionante experiencia. Falta limpieza, había bichos en el camarote, hacia un frío terrible y no había posibilidad de apagar el sistema. No cumple lo que promete ni de lejos. Esperábamos una experiencia VIP porque pagamos un precio muy alto y sin embargo fue un completo desastre

Generally it was ok. Safe, friendly, clean. They put on the table water soft drinks and biscuits for foreign travellers , but not tell us that it's for us. We eaten a few biscuits and as soon we left the cabin, train Lady took everything from the table even another local lady was continuing travelling in that cabin.

The train overnight was an experience for sure! We were two women travelling together and our cabin was shared with two men travelling together. Sheets for cabins were kept under one of our beds and so we were surprised to wake up and find a lovely lady scrabbing under the bed for sheets! :) The food was interesting and fun and we washed it down with copious amounts of Scotch Single Malt! Yum! The bed was very hard but it was only for the one night so all was good. The train stopped in the night and the two gentlemen hopped down from their top bunks to our bottom bunks and left the train. It was very exciting walking up and down the train to get some steps in and meeting all sorts of people doing the railroad travel.

18hrs Saigon to Da Nang. Slept moderately well and views in the morning from the window great. Soap in toilets, sit-down toilets, free hot water, clean bedding. Bring lots of snacks, tea bags etc as the food trolley only had pot noodles and some form of hot dog.

It was a clean and fantastic experience. Used Violette 4 birth train car. It felt high class, great staff came around with free drinks, cleans sheets, free snacks. Such a nice experience. 6ft husband was happy with accomodations.

All worked well. Bedding was warm. Snack package of crisps, Oreo and water. Train was just 30mins late. Minibuses outside to Sapa deliver to hotels. Train was a little noisy in car 2 behind the engine
