Good to know
Mui Ne is on the southern end of Vietnam. If you are venturing all around the country, Mui Ne is a great place to end up on with soft-sanded beaches, quiet waves. Of course, what many globetrotters visit for are the red sand dunes. Take a hot air balloon ride over them and get a bird’s eye view. In general, Mui Ne is a perfect place for deep relaxation. After visiting the Thap Po Sah Inu temple, go to the beach. There, you can meet local fishermen and learn about local history. The nightlife in Mui Ne is growing steadily, allowing a great time to be had without the feeling of seclusion.

Generally very happy with the service, minus the late start to the journey.

Van to Muine
The 2 seats we got together didnt have much leg room. However the ride was smooth, we made a bathroom stop (which had toilet paper and snacks for purchase), the AC worked well, and the seats were comfortable.

For many Ho Chi Minh City residents Mui Ne is a common getaway, as it’s a complete contrast to the big city’s bustling metropolis. What to see when traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne

If you travel by bus, minivan or car to Mui Ne from Ho Chi Minh City, the first part of your adventure will be escaping the chaos and craziness of Ho Chi Minh City’s roads. With herds of motorbikes, gargantuan gridlocks and non-existent traffic rules which seem to work in spite of themselves, it’s an adventure of its own.

Once you emerge out of the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City’s center, you’ll spot smaller towns, working farms and roadside food stops. As the journey continues, the surroundings become more humble, as the land eventually makes way to the shore.

When you first spot the shore, you’ll get an exciting insight into the adventure in store. Crashing shores, golden sands and flaming-red sand dunes, it’s one of the most beautiful seaside stops in the whole of South East Asia.

If you travel by train to Mui Ne from Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll be treated to much the same sights, but without the experience of weaving through the madness of Ho Chi Minh City’s busy roads.
