Traveling with

Kenya Railways

  • Booking and printing the ticket at the machine went smoothly. First class might not have been necessary. The only advantage: a private waiting area with seat service in the terminal in Nairobi. Otherwise, economy would have been fine too.

  • Smooth process getting the tickets booked. Easy to collect tickets with given instructions from the station self printing machine.

  • In time, modern, comfortable. Booking was easy, extra fees too expensive.

  • What a wonderful experience and great way to see the landscape!

  • We rode in the premium cabin and the seating was very well designedl Only issues - booking said we were being served breakfast and lunch and we only were served breakfast, thus left the train very hungry. Also, it would be great it the train company would include informaiton about the route in the video screen or in a brochure, or even on their website, so you could have an idea of what you were passing by.

  • Good help at the station. Good room for your legs Toilets not so nice We thought 1 class was a little luxury But nice staff
