Paradise Island

  • I am a solo female traveler and I booked a 1230pm boat. Online claimed the ride would be 1 hour 15 minutes but it was an error as the ride was only 15 minutes. I arrived shortly after 11am (online said to be at least an hour early), they gave me a green ticket and told me where to wait. There were a few benches in the shade but all full, so I sat on my luggage. After waiting only a short while, they pointed me to a boat that would be leaving soon. The name of the boat didn't say Paradise Island and my boat wasn't scheduled for another hour (all of which was not a requirement to me but I wanted to ensure I'd get to my correct destination). They told me they had enough people (with me included) now to send the new boat off, so I was able to get to the island quicker without having to wait another hour, which was great. The ride was quick and the boat staff was somewhat helpful in loading luggage.
