Raja Ferry

  • Very good

  • Best stuff ever

  • All worked very well. I liked that the port and ferry were almost empty, unlike the crowds when going with Seatran. The bus was comfortable and going at a good speed. Reached airport on time.

  • We decided to use this service from Koh Samui to Krabi Ao Nang. We were told to board at the company's office near to the port at Koh Samui, where they gave us our tickets and we boarded a mini van to the port. From there, we went inside the company's port office and they told us to board on the ferry by foot. It probably would have been better if they told us to board the ferry directly at the departure time as we wasted an hour on the previous step. The ferry journey was OK- it is very basic and there is one room with AC but there is an amazing view from the top deck and a small shop selling water and snacks. On the other side our coach transfer was waiting for us and it took us to the company's office in Surat Thani where we had a one hour wait for the next van, and could use the bathroom or buy lunch nearby. The next van took us through to Krabi bus terminal and we realised that we were better getting off there than at the Ao Nang stop as it was closer to our accommodation. The van driver was very confused by that and we used Google translate to communicate. All in all - it was good and good value. However I thought I was booking a private transfer door to door so not sure how to do that. Be aware it is a public service and the vans get very full.

  • Very good experience. In time. Well organised.

  • not bad for a bus travel
