  • Très bon voyage. Wagon, couchette,draps, le tout propre. Génial pour lire confortablement et passer une bonne nuit. J'y ai passé 10 ou 11 heures au lieu d'1 heure trente en avion mais c'est passé comme une lettre à la poste et en plus cerise sur le gâteau cela intègre une nuit d'hôtel dans le prix du billet. Arrivée à Nong Khai frais et dispo pour passer le poste de contrôle et l'immigration laotienne où j'ai acheté rapidement mon visa sur place (prévoir une photo d'identité à joindre au formulaire et 40 $ US payé en baths thaïlandais ce qui m'est revenu un peu plus cher avec un taux de change défavorable). J'ai tenté une réservation en 1ere classe 10 jours avant mais impossible d'avoir de la disponibilité, je me suis rabattu sur la 2eme classe avec 1 peu d'appréhension mais c'était nickel, la couchette est vraiment fonctionnel.

  • Clean, private cabin. Didn’t know that the upper deck was open for other passengers to book too. I thought it was a cabin for one only.

  • This is the way to go for long trips. Makes a 10 hour train ride feel very short when you can sleep through most of it.

  • Food and drinks provided by sellers on the train 24/7. Alcohol not allowed. Train can be fully booked as fares are low and backpackers go for it.
