The D’Camel boat seemed well maintained with clean windows, in good condition (12. 2025), safety equipment, aircon, a sundeck, free wifi and TV. The crew did very well, boarding and unboarding was well organised, the ride was smooth on a non rainy day and on time. The only “surprise” was to learn that the governmental raised port and Gili tourism fee was not included: Additional 35k IDR/pax had to be paid. This was not mentioned on the website. Though their pricing is on the higher end I do very much recommend their service.

After reading a lot about ferry/boat problems, bad companies etc. this was a very good ride (gili air to padang bai)! Boarding went smooth (shuttle boat to ferry- at sea), quick stop in bangsal lombok. Very on time. Clean, even the toilets. Good seats, aircon and power plugs. Safety equipment seemed state of the art, staff friendly and professional. Have a little an eye on your luggage, as ours was in the wrong basket at offload- but easy to find in another. Thank you!

The ride was fine, but we paid for extra’s that we did not get (premium customer service) and that the staff in Trawangan harbor had never heard of before 🥲🤷
