Buses are pretty comfortable for over night travel but they don’t have all the amenities advertized like Wifi and chargers. Also, the announcements, in Spanish and English are too fast and garbled to understand on the 2nd floor.

We took the bus from Arequipa to Puno (6 hours) and back with our 3 kids. The ride is very bumpy (which is not the bus' fault) so the extra soft comfy chairs were a nice bonus. Make sure to take at least Inka Suite or the trip will not be so nice. The toilet was far from ideal. 6 hours on a bus is too long to hold it. with all the bumps in the road, using the toilet was not easy. the one thing that was not great is that the driver (both times) kept turning off the air-conditioning which made the bus hot and sweaty. I had to ask to have it turned on a few times. was it to save gas? extra note: the bus station in Puno had wild dogs running around. One of them bit me in the leg. The staff at the bus station didn't care.

The bus is very comfortable and the driver did a great job on the winding roads between Cusco and Arequipa. The minus was that they played some tv-show on very loud sound until after midnight, and there was no one to ask to lower the volume that we could find.

It ve was confortable tour.
