The trip from Luang Prabang took 11 hours and 30 minutes to Phonesavan bus station. We stopped 30 minutes for lunch.
The road is 99% dust, rough, muddy after rain but all amid high in the beautiful mountains. Incredible panoramas, steep valleys. Long but very much enjoyable trip, driver was extremely good, careful, never in a rush. Lots of heavy lorries, trucks. A lot of dust and a pity for the villagers who breathe it all day long.
Parfait. Départ et arrivée à l’heure.
Busy train so definitely worth booking seat reservations. Comfortable seats with power sockets (but no wifi). On time so altogether a good journey
We spent a lovely time in your train.
