We travelled from Flores to Coban, which took about 6. 5 hours. The bus was comfortable and made a couple of stops. The road is single lane with a number of hills, curves and even a short ferry crossing. The driver was appropriately aggressive in his driving style to maintain the schedule. He seemed to have good instincts on passing and was not looking at his phone very much, as is the case with other drivers that we have had.

The meeting time at Coban McDonald's was at 10am, but the van arrived at 10:30 and left at 11:00. The driver drove carefully - a plus. We arrived in Flores 5:30pm, instead of the advertised 4pm. The driver was easygoing and pleasant.
