One bus departs from a central Nong Khai station and heads towards Chiang Mai. The journey is quite lengthy, so bring some entertainment with you and warm clothes. The seats are upright, and only recline a bit. Don't get discouraged at the seat quality since the most important thing to have on a lengthy bus ride is ample amounts of leg room (which exist on this bus!).
