Going from Koh Phi Phi to Koh Phangan requires a traveller to book a combo bus-ferry service. With this option, either a minivan or a bus will take you to the pier (which takes 2.5 hrs), from which a ferry will take you to your destination. Both vehicles are air conditioned. Keep in mind that minivans may be cramped and luggage may cost extra to bring aboard.
The backdrop of the critically acclaimed movie, The Beach, Koh Phi Phi is as beautiful (if not more!) as its postcards make it out to be. To marvel at its astounding land and seascapes, take a ferry ride to Phi Phi Leh National Park, the best place to view its soaring limestone cliffs and blue-green waters.

The island also presents plenty of adventure opportunities - hike to the Ao Lo Dalam viewpoint or try your hand at rock climbing. Dive in, snorkel, and discover a colorful underwater world or simply kayak around the island listening to the sounds of the waves, the winds, and its inhabitants.
Bucket loads of alcohol and all night revelry await those who visit Koh Phangan for its famous Full Moon parties. And the best way to nurse your hangover is with a beachside full body massage and or by simply relaxing on one of the island’s pristine beaches.
Once you recover from the night long partying, there are plenty of day time adventures to participate in on the island. Go diving at Sail Rock or try some of the many water activities - sea kayaking, jet skiing, and more await you at Haad Rin Beach. Trek your way through the island’s lush interiors and discover its hidden waterfalls. Catch a stirring sunset, drink in hand, atop Secret Mountain, or land up in Thong Sala Night Market for some lip-smacking street food.
